Broken and Bleeding
As her heart stops beating
The angel of Death looks down upon her
Soon to be deciding her fate
  Will she live
     Or will she die
Time is running out

Lights and sirens coming from the distance
The time has come
To make up his mind
To let her live he will lose her love
To let her die he will have her soul
He looks into her eyes
Just once more
And the choice is decided
To let her go
Walk away and never look back

   Seeing the light
She knows his choice
She will never see her love again
She wishes for death instead
     She stares after him as he walks away
Wishing she had the courage to make him come back
He keeps walking
Wishing she would stop him
Their love no longer whole
Neither takes the time to listen to their own heart
